Four years after the release of his debut album “Never Be Defeated,” Rich Tolbert Jr. has returned with “The Call.” A staunch worship leader and psalmist, Tolbert’s latest offering comes after years of perseverance and sacrifice.

“My new album The Call is finally here,” Tolbert proclaimed in an Instagram post. “After years of hard work, late nights, garden experiences; I’m beyond grateful to share these songs with the world. Each track has been a part of my journey, and my prayer is that they bring you as much light and strength as they brought me.”

“The Call” was recorded live in New Jersey and features 10 songs that encompass what it means to show God reverence. The title track serves as a testament to those who have dedicated their lives to the Lord and severing him through ministry.

“‘The Call’ is a great reminder to myself and others that if there is a great call in your life, there is also a great burden,” he said in a statement. “I’ve learned over the years that whatever I’ve been called to be burdened with; I was graced for. Let’s find peace and win through it all.”

Tolbert’s Campfire Music Group showcases vocal prowess on the signature song of praise, “He Shall Reign.” There’s also an electrifying praise break in “Not Much Longer Now.” Tolbert believes this release can remind listeners they are victorious no matter what life throws at them.
