Wedding bells are ringing! Gospel recording artist, Tye Tribbett, gave his eldest daughter, Austyn, away earlier this month in an intimate lakeside ceremony.
The proud dad couldn’t contain his excitement about the nuptials, breaking the news to social media before the couple made an official announcement. Followers got a sneak peak into the day with a clip of Tribbett walking Austyn down the aisle. Gushing over the father-daughter duo proceeding arm in arm through the venue entrance, Instagram users reacted with many congratulations. Austyn’s reveal post—a photo montage of the newlyweds—was met with similar sentiments.
Tribbett’s Florida estate was transformed into a romantic wonderland, exuding warmth and charm for the wedding. Twinkling lights and the soft glow of red roses—Austyn’s favorite flower—illuminated the waterfront backdrop. The bride was a vision of elegance in her timeless white gown, with long, flowing hair framed by a bold red lip and delicate veil. Her groom, Kaleb, looked equally as striking in a sleek black tuxedo.
Their wedding day was made even more special by the presence of gospel icons like Kirk Franklin, Mary Mary, and Pastor John Gray. These influential figures, who have been part of Austyn and Kaleb’s journey, helped to create a celebration that honored their faith, love, and shared artistry.
Hesitant to risk the stability of their connection, Austyn and Kaleb were friends for six years before beginning a romance. However, in December of last year, they made the leap, and their relationship quickly blossomed. What began as a bond rooted in camaraderie and mutual respect, quickly grew into something deeper and more profound. After just nine months of dating Kaleb popped the question. Although he originally had a detailed plan for the proposal, he abandoned it for a spontaneous and heartfelt moment. Moved by his love and the timing feeling just right, he proposed to Austyn on the spot.
Though they stem from gospel royalty, Austyn and Kaleb are building their own legacy in the arts and entertainment space.
Austyn is a dancer, choreographer, and recording artist. She also founded Living Proof, a platform that empowers and inspires others through creative expression. She has toured alongside her father and quickly developed a reputation for her visionary choreography and entrepreneurial spirit. Austyn’s dedication to her art and her faith aligns perfectly with Kaleb’s, making their partnership a powerful fusion of creativity, love, and purpose.
Kaleb’s journey is a remarkable one. The talented drummer built a professional relationship with his now father-in-law by playing at his church. Eventually, he became the official drummer on tour with the Grammy-winning artist. But Kaleb’s talents go beyond drumming—he is also a gifted rapper, signed to Rodney Jerkins’ Christian label, Alienz Alive. His music blends faith and artistry, creating songs that inspire and uplift while challenging the norms of both the Christian and mainstream music worlds. His dedication to his craft and faith is evident in every aspect of his work.
Austyn and Kaleb’s journey from friendship to a love-filled marriage is a testament to the power of divine timing, faith, and emotional authenticity. Congrats to the lovely couple!
