DAY 1: DREAM

To begin, let’s start at the end. What do you want your life to look like at the end of these 25 days? At the end of the year? Now is the time to dream freely, envision your future and what it means to be your best self living your best life.

To-Do: Make a vision board, emotional board, or a 2025 bingo card complete with images and words that illustrate your specific goals.

Journal: What would I do if I weren’t afraid of failing? What does my dream life look like?

Read: Habakkuk 2:2

DAY 2: PLAN

“A goal without a plan is just a wish,” writes French author Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. It doesn’t do well to dwell on the dream and not create a plan for achieving it. Now that you have your vision, it’s time to take a step forward.

To-Do: Write down one goal and one small step you can take toward reaching it today. Repeat daily.

Journal: Why are these goals important to me? How will they help me grow or contribute to my life and the lives of others?

Affirm: “I release the limiting beliefs that have held me back from taking action. I am capable of more than I realize.”

DAY 3: ORGANIZE

Time to sort out your priorities. Don’t go into a new year with last year’s mess. Clean house literally and figuratively so you can reset with a clean slate.

To-Do: In 15 minute intervals, schedule your appointments, sort your laundry, pay your bills, plan your calendar and budget for the next 25 days.

Journal: What will my life look like in six months if I stay consistent with small organizational tasks each day?

Affirm: “Taking care of myself is a privilege and a superpower.”

DAY 4: PRAY

We can’t completely change our lives through our own strength alone. God’s strength is perfect when our strength is gone. Invite God into your plans for the next 25 days and see how he transforms you.

To-Do: Study your Bible or preferred religious text and learn about God’s character (bonus points for going to church or a Bible study!).

Journal: Write down your prayers in your journal. Give thanks and ask for what you need. Be as vulnerable as you want in these pages.

Meditate: Imagine releasing all your stresses, worries, and wants over to God.

DAY 5: ROUTINE

By now we’ve gotten organized and made a plan but if we want to stick to the reset, we need to create a routine. A routine helps us stay on track and manage our time so we’re putting our focus on the activities that will help us reset for the new year.

To-Do: Choose one or two non-negotiable activities you’ll do every morning and every night. Such as washing your face, cleaning dishes, picking out your clothes.

Journal: What are the things I truly care about in life? What are the things I’ve been avoiding?

Read: Proverbs 13:4

DAY 6: EXERCISE

It’s a bit cliché, but in addition to strengthening our hearts and minds, it’s important to keep our bodies strong and healthy. These first 25 days of January are a good time to jumpstart a doable fitness regimen.

To-Do: Go for a short walk outside or even try an indoor workout. Or explore a new type of fitness that interests and energizes you.

Journal: What are the barriers preventing me from exercising regularly? How can I be kind to myself during moments when I struggle with consistency?

Affirm: “I deserve to feel good in my own skin, and I am working toward that every day.”

DAY 7: NOURISH

There’s no point in planning our dream future if we’re not going to be healthy enough to see it. Let this be the year you prioritize your health and nutrition so you can go into the next 25 days feeling your best.

To-Do: Take your vitamins, make at least one home-cooked meal, drink your water.

Journal: What emotional connections do I have with food? When do I eat for comfort, stress relief, or out of habit?

Affirm: “I release guilt and shame around food and choose to nourish myself with love.”

DAY 8: HEAL

No matter how we change our bodies, our careers, our habits, none of that matters if we don’t reset our minds. True change happens from the inside out.

To-Do: Cry. Talk about your feelings with a friend. If you don’t already have one, connect with a therapist. Take your meds.

Journal: What do I need to forgive myself for?

Read: Philippians 4:6

DAY 9: FAITH

Do you believe you can live the life of your dreams? Do you trust yourself and trust God to see you through to the end? Faith will be the fuel that keeps us pushing toward our goals so we must increase our sense of hope over the next few days.

To-Do: Set aside 5 minutes every day to pray and sit in communion with God, making your requests and gratitude known to him.

Journal: How can I take one bold step of faith toward my goals this week, even if I feel unsure or unprepared?

Affirm: “I believe in my abilities because God has equipped me for every task.”

DAY 10: REST

After a series of workouts, you have a rest day. At the end of a long work week, we get to rest on the weekends. After doing the work, we rest. Resetting is work, no doubt about it and in order to do this inner and outer transformation, we require rest so we can renew our strength for another day.

To-Do: Drink some soothing tea, listen to calming music, take a nap, just sit back and relax.

Journal: Describe your dream vacation.

Affirm: “I release the need to always be busy, I embrace the power of pause.”

DAY 11: READ

Knowledge is power and the more we read, the more we know. We should never stop learning and books offer us the opportunity to be perpetual students. What’s something you always wanted to know more about? Take a look, it’s in a book.

To-Do: Scroll less, read more. Check out essays, articles, novels, biographies, self-help, or audiobooks to expand your mind and your imagination.

Journal: Write down a quote or line from something you read that stuck out to you.

Meditate: On your favorite books or stories from childhood. How can you find joy in reading?

DAY 12: FAST

Fasting isn’t just about abstaining from food. You can give up food, sex, television, social media, anything! During a fast, you choose to stop doing anything that can distract you from God and the purpose He’s placed in you. Fasting helps us rely on God’s strength to see us through, strength we can call upon at any time during our Reset and beyond.

To-Do: Over a few hours a day or the next 25 days, choose to abstain from something satisfying in order to focus your attention on God and your goals.

Journal: Fill in the blanks: “I release _____ so I can make room for _____.”

Read: Matthew 6:16-18.

DAY 13: PIVOT

The whole point of a reset is to start again and do things differently. Now that we’re halfway through these 25 days, is there anything you’re thinking of doing differently? Any dream you want to rewrite? Any strategy you need to adjust? Know you have the power to start over any time you need.

To-Do: Review your reset journey so far. What’s working or not working? What would you like to change?

Journal: How can I embrace the process of unfolding rather than expecting instant results?

Affirm: “I release the pressure to have everything figured out before making a change. I can change my mind anytime.”

DAY 14: PLAY

All work and no play can make January a very dull time, indeed. While it’s important to put in the work to improve and reset our lives, it’s equally important to make time for fun, ease,

To-Do: Go on a solo date. Dinner, a movie, a walk on the beach or picnic in the park. Treat yourself!

Journal: What were some of the most fun moments I experienced recently? How did those moments positively impact me?

Affirm: “I deserve a life of laughter and ease.

DAY 15: EXPLORE

Life happens on the other side of our comfort zone. This reset challenge is the opportunity for us to try new things, explore our passions or discover new interests. Discover a new side of yourself.

To-Do: Spend some time in nature, try some new foods or acting as a tourist in your city. Get inspired by getting out of your comfort zone!

Journal: Write down five new things you learned or did today.

Meditate: Visualize past moments where you took a leap of faith or tried something different. Remind yourself that trying new things has led you to beautiful growth before, and it will again.

DAY 16: COMMUNITY

There’s a saying that goes: If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together. Working on yourself doesn’t have to be done by yourself. Lean on your support system for encouragement and fun during this reset challenge.

To-Do: Call up your friends or family members who make you smile and energize your life. Sign up for networking or community events to expand your circle and connect you with new future friends.

Journal: Make a list of people who inspire you.

DAY 17: DISCIPLINE

Along this 25-Day Reset Challenge, you may feel tempted to give up and return to old habits. Even though change is hard, it’s worth it. Self-care must include discipline, boundaries, and focus on not only what feels good, but what’s good for you.

To-Do: Practice saying no. To yourself and to others. Start small and see how you soon become more comfortable asserting your boundaries.

Journal: What distracts me from my goals?

Affirm: Proverbs 25:28

DAY 18: SAVE

Lots of folks are manifesting financial abundance in the new year. Financial freedom gives us the ability to make choices that bring us closer to our goals and we can achieve that freedom through saving.

To-Do: Begin to create an emergency fund (enough to cover three months of expenses) by depositing $5 or more weekly into a savings account.

Journal: What’s the most important lesson or advice I have received about money?

Read: Proverbs 3:9-10

DAY 19: SERVE

Changing our lives should benefit much more than just ourselves. When we’re good to others, it helps us feel good within ourselves.

To-Do: Volunteer your time with a local charity, donate to a organization that’s important to you, share information about a cause that you care about.

Journal: When was the last time you helped someone? How did you feel?

Read: John 13:1-17

DAY 20: GROW

Prayerfully, as we approach the last days of this 25-Day Reset, you’ll start noticing some changes in your mind, body, and soul. As you grow beyond your old habits, replace them with new activities that align not with the person you were, but the person you’re becoming.

To-Do: Everyday, write down something you’re proud of on a piece of paper and put it in a jar. Open the jar at the end of year and look back on your growth.

Journal: Looking back at where I was one month or one year ago, how have I changed as a person?

Affirm: “I am a constant work in progress.”

DAY 21: LOVE

Why even bother with a reset challenge? We invest in our lives, our dreams, our health, and our communities because we love ourselves. There’s no greater demonstration of love than care. This 25-day reset challenge is a time to truly take care of yourself, inside and out.

To-Do: Stand in the mirror and repeat: “I love myself just as I am.” “I am worthy of love and respect.” “I don’t need outside validation for my self-worth.”

Journal: Write a letter to yourself as if you are your own best friend. Write what you admire about yourself, compliment your appearance and accomplishments. Give yourself some flowers.

Read: “All About Love: New Visions” by bell hooks.

DAY 22: GRATITUDE

While we’re in the midst of resetting our lives and achieving our short term goals, it’s important to show appreciation for the life we’re already living. Having a mindset of gratitude can help you cultivate a sense of peace and stay connected to what’s truly important in life.

To-Do: Pray and give thanks for your health and blessings

Journal: Write down five things you’re grateful for at the end of each day. Write down five things you’re looking forward to at the start of each day.

Meditate: With every breath you take, name something you’re thankful for.

DAY 23: CELEBRATE

You’re almost done with your 25 Day Reset Challenge! Whether you’ve stuck to your goals and activities for the week or whether you’ve had to stop and start again, celebrate yourself for making it this far! Remember, progress is more important than perfection.

To-Do: Reward yourself for putting in the effort to revolutionize your life.

Journal: If I could talk to my past self at the beginning of this reset, what would I tell them about how far I’ve come and what I’ve accomplished?

Affirm: “Every step I take brings me closer to the person I am becoming, and I celebrate each one.”

DAY 24: ENOUGH

As you’re changing, growing, learning, and resetting, remember that you are good enough just as you are. You are worthy of all of your dreams coming true and you already have all the tools you need to be successful. To have the best year of your life, you don’t need to be anybody other than yourself.

To-Do: Don’t try so hard to change. Be kind to yourself and enjoy the life you’re living.

Journal: What efforts or actions have I made that others may not see but that are important to my growth? How can I honor myself for those quiet efforts?

Affirm: “I have enough. I do enough. I am enough.”

DAY 25: REFLECT

As we reach the end of our 25 day reset challenge of visioning, striving, resting, and TK, take a step back and reflect on how far you’ve come.

To-Do: Review your last 25 days. Have you made any notable progress? Have you tried anything new?

Journal: Make a list of your accomplishments big and small over the last few days. Write down how you want to feel at the end of the next 25 days?

Affirm: “I am proud of myself.”
