CeCe Winans, a Gospel music heavyweight, further solidified her star power at the 2025 Grammy Awards yesterday (February 2). She emerged as the big winner in the Christian & Gospel music categories.
Grammys 2025 Christian & Gospel Winners
Winans won Grammys for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for her song “That’s My King” and Best Gospel Album for “More Than This.” She was up against contemporaries Karen Clark Sheard and Ricky Dillard in the Best Gospel Album category.
Winans took to Instagram to extend a lengthy “thank you” to everyone involved in her project. She’s headed out on her More Than This Tour starting next week with the first stop scheduled in Canton, OH on February 12.
Standout Gospel singer and songwriter DOE walked away with the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Album. Her album, “Heart of a Human,” is a critically acclaimed project boasting soulful and heartfelt lyrics.
Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Erica Campbell, Israel Houghton, Jonathan McReynolds and Jekalyn Carr all teamed up for “One Hallelujah” which won the Grammy for Best Gospel Performance/Song.
