Frontier Airlines is taking a jab at Southwest Airlines after announcing plans to eliminate free checked luggage and seat assignments.

As reported by CNBC, Frontier is now offering a bundle that includes a seat assignment and carry-on bag for free if they book through March 24 for travel through August 18. The promotion applies for nonstop trips booked on the airlines’ website or mobile app.

Customers can receive a free checked bag for flights departing May 28 through August 18 with the promo code FREEBAG.

The promo comes one week after Southwest announced that starting May 28, it is ending its long-standing policy of allowing customers to check two bags for free.

In a statement, Frontier CEO Barry Biffle spoke of the promo, while also taking an apparent swipe at Southwest.

“We’ve always had heart. Some airlines are walking away from what travelers love, but we’re running towards it. Think of this as the ultimate ‘divorce old airline’ deal. If travelers show us the love, we’ll make these perks permanent.”

In case you don’t know, Southwest’s home airport is Dallas Love Field and has a love-and-hearts theme to its branding, with its stock ticker being LUV.

In response, Southwest brushed off the jab and highlighted its larger network:

“You don’t need a promo code to avoid change fees, cancellation fees, view in-flight entertainment or bring along two carry-on items on Southwest. We look forward to serving the new Customers attracted to fare above all else, as well as rewarding our most-loyal Customers in our unmatched network connecting more than 850 nonstop city pairs at 117 airports across the United States and 10 international countries.”
