Kierra Sheard-Kelly is getting ready to release new music soon. To prepare, she’s teaming up with two powerhouse record labels to release what could be an iconic album.
Karew Records is partnering up with TRIBL Music Group to back the Grammy-nominated singer’s upcoming project. Karew Records is led by J. Drew Sheard II.
“I’m really excited to be partnering with TRIBL for this new record with Kierra,” said Sheard II in a press release. “I’ve worked with a lot of them on various projects with different companies, so I know what they’re capable of and I’m truly looking forward to what is going to be created with them in the future.”
Karew is not only the home to Kierra Sheard-Kelly, but also The Clark Sisters and Karen Clark Sheard. The label has racked up multiple no. 1 songs on Billboard, plus Grammy nominations, Stellar, Dove and NAACP Image Award wins.
TRIBL Music Group’s rockstar roster includes Maverick City Music, Chandler Moore, Naomi Raine, Travis Greene, and more. The label is led by co-founder and CEO Norman Gyamfi. He said he’s excited to help facilitate the release of an album from a world-class talent.
“From her soaring voice to the connection she has with millions of loyal fans, Kierra Sheard is one of the most beloved artists in our industry,” Gyamfi said. “She is a world-class talent and we’re excited to partner with her in the next phase of her multi-faceted career.”
Right now, Kierra is on the road for The Reunion 2.0 Tour alongside The Clark Sisters, Fred Hammond, Kirk Franklin and more, but she said she’s excited about this new beginning.
“I’m excited about the partnership with TRIBL for my upcoming music and future,” Kierra remarked. “I believe this collaboration will bring a fresh, innovative, approach! Partnering with the brilliant minds of this team is what I’ve been waiting for! With God leading us, I believe it’ll extend my reach to share the gospel and make my long-time supporters proud!”
A title for Kierra’s album is still pending, but it’s slated to be released in 2025.
