Jackie Hill Perry and Megan Ashley have teamed up to host a discipleship conference focused on helping Christians get back to the basics. The duo went live on Instagram this past Friday to announce their Acts 242 Conference, a four-session event taking place in Atlanta from October 25-26. This exciting event was a true surprise most didn’t see coming, but the rapid ticket sales prove just how eager people are to attend.
Perry and Ashley, both recognized for their Christian background and strong online presence in discipling others, have developed a Christ-led friendship this past year. From Perry being a frequent guest on Ashley’s podcast, “In Totality,” to the two sharing a permanent space on each other’s social media stories and posts, the idea wasn’t too far-fetched.

The conference, which highlights the importance of discipleship and fellowship among Christians, is named after the Bible verse Acts 2:24. This verse emphasizes the Apostles’ teachings about Jesus and the fellowship among believers, stating, “All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles teaching, and to the fellowship, and to the sharing in meals (including the Lord’s supper), and to prayer.”
The 2-day conference will be led by Perry, Ashley, Dr. Sarita Lyons, and Dr. Eric Mason. Feature guest speakers include Preston Perry and Pastor Phillip Mitchell. Day one of the conference will include the first session and late-night worship, while day two comprises the final three sessions before concluding.
