The air is a little crisper. The days are a little shorter. And this is all just the beginning.
Sunday was the first day of fall – even though some may not have been able to tell based on recent weather. So, many are asking, “When do we turn back the clocks?”
If you think days are shorter now just wait until November 3rd. That’s when we’ll all adjust – or more likely – that’s when our smart devices will all “fall back” an hour. This move makes our days shorter, and by mid-December, we could be looking at sunsets by 5 p.m.
Here’s What You Don’t Know About Daylight Saving Time
From FOX 8:
According to Fox 8 Meteorologist Jenn Harcher, there are several sunset milestones over the next couple of months:
- Last 7 p.m. sunset: October 6
- Last 6 p.m. sunset: November 2
- Clocks fall back: November 3
- Last 5 p.m. sunset: November 26 (comes back on December 19)
The one positive thing about the clocks “falling back” is that we’ll get an extra hour of sleep… so, there’s that!
