Tye Tribbett is reaching back to pull other creatives forward.
The 3x Grammy award-winning artist recently launched The Chosen Creative Arts Academy. This 12-week virtual course was created to provide wisdom, insight, instruction, and practical information to creatives. Singers, worship leaders, new artists, musicians, production technicians, and other music professionals are invited to join for an opportunity to learn from industry leaders and experts.
Participants of the Tye Tribbett Chosen Creative Arts Academy will get first-hand experience in their field of choice and mentorship by Tye Tribbett and his special guest lecturers. The “If He Did It Before” singer tapped Sheila E., Randy Jackson, Chandler Moore, 1K Phew, and Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins to share their insights during the course.
Tribbett, 48, has vast experience in the sphere having held roles as a musician, artist, radio and television host, producer, publisher, and social media culture influencer. By extending his over 30 years of expertise, he hopes to help others avoid his mistakes while sharpening their skills and growing their brands.
“This virtual course is an intentional effort to promote and reflect the cultural diversity of our global community. This creative space gives an opportunity for artists and for those seeking to go into or are already part of the music industry to grow professionally and personally. Creatives are needed in our world and this master class will give them wind under their wings,” Tribbett shared. ”This is my initiative to help you skip over the stuff I tripped over. I know what it is to go from one level to the next and I want to help you on your journey.”

Social media followers got a peek inside the Chosen Creative Arts Academy course when the Tye Tribbett shared a snippet of the wisdom given in the program. “The first result you’ll get is an increase of influence. As it comes to you, point it to God. That’s the wisest thing you can do. You don’t just want to increase your influence to control people. Those of you who really got love for people in your heart, God will increase your influence because he knows with that influence you’re going to use that platform to help people,” he said in an Instagram post.
Followers shared their excitement about the course’s Fall launch. “I’ve been waiting on this since last year, thank you big bro. I’m ready,” one user said. A former participant reflected on the program’s impact, “I literally just mentioned Chosen yesterday reminiscing on how Chosen changed my life…Crazy!”
The program is being offered in three tiers. The first is the ‘Silver Level’ which gives access to the 12 foundational classes offered. The second is the ‘Gold Level’ which offers the 12 foundational classes, interactive elements for advanced learning, personalized advice and insight, and after session Q&A with Tye Tribbett and/or facilitator. Thirdly, in the ‘Platinum Level’, participants receive all Gold Level benefits, as well as exclusive mentorship and networking opportunities. Additionally, a monthly personal Zoom Q&A and direct mentorship and guidance from Tye Tribbett and special rate on general admission to “Chosen” in-person gathering.
